Utrecht Rental Criteria

THE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:

You must be enrolled in an educational programme as a full time student.
You are not registered on World Check (you are not associated with money laundering, organised crime, sanctions, countering the financing of terrorism and politically exposed persons).
The campus contract entitles you to stay as long as you are enrolled for a study. You will have to provide proof of actual subscription of your enrolment from your educational institution. You are legally required to move out maximal 3 months after graduation/end of enrolment.
We require a minimum length of stay of 12 months. After, you may cancel your contract at any time with a minimum of 1 calendar month notice.
Agreements with universities may include fixed term campus contracts for just an academic year. You will be informed automatically via your university if you are eligible for such a contract.

If your apartment is not available, please register on our interest list. We will inform you when your preferred apartment type is available.
Apartments are leased on a first come, first serve basis. Once you have reserved an apartment, you need to complete the application form and upload documents within 72 hours.
Reserving an apartment does NOT automatically mean your application is accepted. Once you finalized the application form and uploaded the required documents, the application will be processed. Canvas Utrecht reserves the right to deny any application.
Once your application is processed, a contract will be provided. After signing of the contract and payment of the deposit, Canvas Utrecht will countersign the contract. Your rental contract is only definite after countersigned by Canvas Utrecht. Please note that you need to sign the contract and pay the deposit within 72 hours.
