Note: For Bronze, Silver, and Gold studios with a roommate, an additional €110/month applies to ensure all charges are fully covered.

To apply for student accommodation at Canvas, you'll need: a valid ID (passport or national identity card), plus documents based on your situation: a school certificate or letter of acceptance for students, an internship agreement for interns, or an employment contract for salaried workers. Proof of address is also required: your last three months' rent receipts if you were a tenant, or a proof of residence if you were hosted by someone.

For a guarantor (must be tax-resident in France and cover at least 2x the monthly rent before discount): valid ID, contact details, latest tax notice, and income proof depending on their situation (payslips, activity reports, etc.). If your guarantor is not tax-resident in France, a corporate guarantor such as GarantMe is required.

Yes, all Canvas student apartments come fully furnished. All you need to do is add your personal touch and make it your own! A detailed inventory list will be included with your rental contract so you know exactly what's provided.

To secure your student accommodation at a Canvas residence, a fully refundable security deposit is required alongside your first month's rent. The deposit amount varies by apartment type and will be shown during the booking process. It covers potential damages and is returned in full at the end of your tenancy, provided the property is in good condition and all lease terms have been fulfilled.

At Canvas student residences, tenancy agreements run for 12 months and renew automatically, giving you long-term stability in your student accommodation. If your plans change, simply give one month's written notice. Your notice period starts from the date we receive your registered letter, act of commissioner of justice, or hand-delivered notice.
