The Promotion described in this document is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
1. PROMOTION ORGANISER
The Promotion is organised by GEPE LILO OPCO SNC, registered under number FR97966395200013, with its registered office at 9 Rue Saint-Georges, 75009 Paris (the “Organiser”).
The Organiser is the owner of Canvas Paris La Défense and the holder of the Canvas trademark. The Organiser is represented by its agent, Acteva Residences.
The Organiser is offering this “Refer a Friend” Promotion, under which Amazon gift cards will be awarded in accordance with the terms set out below.
2. PURPOSE OF THE PROMOTION
The purpose of the Promotion is to encourage Residents of Canvas Paris La Défense to refer a new Resident to the property.
Under this Promotion, Canvas offers:
- one €150 Amazon gift card to the Referring Resident;
- one €150 Amazon gift card to the Referred Resident.
The Referring Resident and the Referred Resident will therefore each receive €150, subject to compliance with all of these Terms.
The Promotion will only apply once the Referred Resident has signed their lease agreement, completed their check-in and resided at Canvas Paris La Défense for at least one month.
Amazon gift cards cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
3. DEFINITIONS AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Referring Resident
The “Referring Resident” is the Resident who recommends Canvas Paris La Défense to a new prospective Resident.
To be eligible for the Promotion, the Referring Resident:
- must be an active Resident of Canvas Paris La Défense with a current lease agreement;
- must have fulfilled the requirements applicable to their own booking;
- must inform the Canvas Paris La Défense team in writing of the referral before the Referred Resident’s booking is confirmed.
Any referral made only verbally or communicated after the Referred Resident’s booking has been confirmed will not be eligible.
Referred Resident
The “Referred Resident” is the new Resident referred by the Referring Resident.
To be eligible for the Promotion, the Referred Resident:
- must make a new booking at Canvas Paris La Défense;
- must sign a lease agreement for a minimum duration of one month;
- must provide all documents required as part of the booking process;
- must pay all amounts due in accordance with their lease agreement;
- must move into the property and complete their check-in;
- must actually reside at Canvas Paris La Défense for at least one month;
- must not have previously resided at any Canvas property;
- must not have booked through a referral or partnership arrangement with an agent, university, school or other institutional partner.
The Organiser reserves the right to reject any participation that does not meet the eligibility requirements or the usual booking and application validation requirements.
4. PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion is valid from 1 September 2026 to 30 September 2026 inclusive.
To qualify for the Promotion, the referral must be submitted and the Referred Resident’s booking must be made during this period.
Any booking made after 30 September 2026 will not qualify for the Promotion.
The Organiser reserves the right to extend the duration of the Promotion.
5. PARTICIPATING PROPERTY
The Promotion applies exclusively to:
- Canvas Paris La Défense
No other Canvas property is included in this Promotion.
6. HOW THE PROMOTION WORKS
The Referring Resident must provide details of the referral in writing to the Canvas Paris La Défense team before the Referred Resident’s booking is confirmed.
For the referral to be fully validated, the Referred Resident must:
- have made an eligible booking;
- have signed their lease agreement;
- have fulfilled all booking requirements;
- have paid all amounts due under their lease agreement;
- have completed their check-in at Canvas Paris La Défense;
- and have resided at the property for at least one month.
Once all of these requirements have been verified, the Organiser will validate the referral.
Following validation, the Referring Resident and the Referred Resident will each receive a €150 Amazon gift card.
7. PROMOTION LIMITATIONS
The Promotion is limited to one referral per person for the entire Promotion Period.
Each Referring Resident may therefore refer one Referred Resident only under this Promotion.
Each Referred Resident may be linked to one Referring Resident only.
Each participant may receive only one €150 Amazon gift card under this Promotion.
The same booking cannot result in multiple rewards or be attributed to multiple Referring Residents.
The Promotion cannot be combined with another referral or recommendation programme unless expressly stated otherwise by the Organiser.
Amazon gift cards are personal to the beneficiaries and cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash or replaced with another benefit.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse to award a reward in the event of fraud, attempted fraud, false information, duplicate claims or failure to comply with these Terms.
8. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Personal data collected as part of the Promotion will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Promotion, verifying participants’ eligibility and managing their booking.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French data protection legislation.
The Organiser may request any information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and ensure the proper administration of the Promotion.
Participants guarantee that all information provided in connection with the Promotion is accurate, complete and up to date.
9. AMENDMENT, SUSPENSION OR CANCELLATION OF THE PROMOTION
The Organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Promotion where necessary due to force majeure or any other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Participants who have already satisfied all eligibility requirements before any such amendment, suspension or cancellation will retain the benefit of the Promotion.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Organiser will not be liable for any delay or inability to award a reward resulting from, in particular:
- incorrect or incomplete information provided by a participant;
- an incomplete application;
- failure to meet the eligibility requirements;
- a delay or failure attributable to a third party;
- or any circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit any mandatory consumer rights granted under French law.

12. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS
Participation in the Promotion constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Referring Resident and the Referred Resident must comply with all eligibility criteria, conditions and requirements set out in this document in order to benefit from the Promotion.
Any participation that does not comply with these Terms may be deemed ineligible by the Organiser.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with French law.
In the event of a dispute relating to the Promotion, the parties will first seek to reach an amicable resolution.
Consumers retain all rights available to them under French consumer law, including the right to bring proceedings before the competent courts and, where applicable, to use an authorised consumer mediation service.
