CLOSE TO THE UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW

Canvas Glasgow is under 2 miles from the University of Glasgow’s main Gilmorehill campus in the West End. Cycle it in about 15 minutes, get there by public transport in 30 or walk in 40. Direct bus routes link the centre and West End, while established cycle routes make biking realistic.

Choosing accommodation near Glasgow University makes a big difference. With most teaching based around the Gilmorehill campus, early lectures, library sessions and group work are easier without a complicated commute.

RIGHT IN THE HEART OF THE CITY

Living centrally means you can pick up groceries, grab a coffee or meet friends without crossing town. Buchanan Street and Queen Street Station are nearby, keeping the rest of Glasgow and beyond well connected.

For medical students with teaching at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, regular public transport makes the commute practical.
