Yes. Canvas Living rents furnished apartments to eligible young professionals and workers at two addresses in Bordeaux: Canvas Bordeaux Docks and Canvas Bordeaux East.
Canvas Bordeaux Docks is in the Bassins à Flot district, in the north of Bordeaux. Canvas Bordeaux East is at 8 Rue Pierre Chiberry, 33310 Lormont, on the right bank.
Yes. Every apartment is furnished and ready to live in, with a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a work area. A detailed inventory is attached to your tenancy agreement.
One monthly rent covers your furnished apartment, water, electricity, heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, building maintenance and access to every shared space, including the coworking areas, the gym and the rooftop.
Yes. Both residences have a coworking space with room for calls and focused work, and high-speed Wi-Fi is included in your rent.
Yes. Car parking is available at both residences, subject to availability.
Around 15 minutes by tram from Canvas Bordeaux Docks and around 20 minutes by tram from Canvas Bordeaux East.

Bordeaux has become one of the most attractive cities in France for young talent. Two hours from Paris by train, thirty minutes from the ocean, with a growing business scene and a quality of life that people move here for, it is a city where building a career and enjoying your weeks are not in competition.

 

CAREERS AND INNOVATION

Bordeaux Euratlantique, the Darwin ecosystem and the Bassins à Flot district have turned the city into a hub for tech, digital, aerospace, wine and consulting. Startups, international groups and coworking communities sit within a short tram ride of each other, which makes changing jobs easier than changing city.

 

FOOD, WINE AND GOING OUT

The quays, the Chartrons district and the Marché des Capucins carry the social life of the city, from after-work drinks to long Sunday lunches. Rooftops, food halls and neighbourhood bistros give you somewhere new every week, and the vineyards start twenty minutes from your door.

 

CULTURE AND WEEKENDS

La Cité du Vin, the Bassins des Lumières, Darwin and a year-round calendar of festivals keep the city busy. When you want out, Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat are around an hour away, and Lacanau and Cap Ferret put the Atlantic within reach of a Saturday morning.

 

GETTING AROUND

Four tram lines, a dense bus network, one of the best cycling infrastructures in France, a TGV that reaches Paris in a little over two hours and an international airport. Living in Bordeaux without a car is genuinely workable, and both Canvas residences sit on a tram line.
