Student Housing in Nordhavn

Canvas Student is for students aged 18–30 at move-in, enrolled in an educational program recognised by the Danish SU. This includes PhD students, interns, and apprentices earning a SU-like income. You must start full-time studies within three months of moving in.

Contracts are open-ended. The lease includes a three-month non-termination period from the start date and a three-month notice period.
If you give notice during the non-termination period, the termination is accepted, but it will only take effect after the three-month non-termination period has expired, followed by the three-month notice period. This means a minimum stay of six months applies.
If you give notice after the non-termination period has expired, the notice period is the running month plus three months.
You may stay as long as you maintain student status. After graduation, you have three months to move to alternative housing.

Canvas Student verifies student enrolment at move-in and at least once per year. Proof of enrolment must be provided when requested.

Yes. Exchange students and interns aged 18–30 at move-in are welcome and may remain residents even if they turn 30 during their stay.

Yes, recent graduates and young professionals may apply to live at Canvas Student in Frederiksberg or Nordhavn. Existing residents at these two properties must sign a new lease with updated terms.

Students who do not meet the age requirement may apply for studios with a private kitchen at Canvas Nordhavn or Canvas Frederiksberg.
